Got the block officially finished last night, wrapped it up and also cleaned everything else for the build that is getting reused except for the new head(that's gonna be a day in itself). Also sorted out the stud issue we were having for the front cover and got the oil pan tapped for the return line.

Nice, looks really good! But I have to ask, what's it going in to?

1981 Datsun 280z.

What head's going on it? Turbo? (please be turbo)

Not a turbo head, it's an N/A head with the 'A' cam in it, but there will be a turbo on the motor when it gets put back in. It has the dish top pistons though so we should still be safe compression wise.

Looks like a "plateau" hone job on the cylinders. Good choice.

I honestly have no clue what the differences are. He bought a 'flex-hone' tool and that's what we used. This is the first dabble into actually refinishing engine stuff for any of us.
